Blister bush ( Peucedanum galbanum) or mountain celery.

If you do hike in the Western Cape then be aware of the blister bush. Some spots on Table Mountain full of them. The plants leaves have a phototoxic covering on them and if you rub up against them, the poison is activated by sunlight and 2 or 3 days later you’ll get some serious blisters which can last up to 6 weeks. If for some reason you do come in touch with the bush, then try and stay out of the sun or keep the area covered.
