Our 1st day we relaxed at Mr. Kahawa in Paje on the beach and had our 1st swim in the beautiful blue sea. Wow! Wow! Wow!
The food at Mr Kahawa was really great and well priced!! Sorry but when you come from S.A. you tend to convert the Tanzanian shilling (TZS) into Rand (ZAR) because our money isn’t worth much anywhere. (10 000 TZS = 63 ZAR) 😦 But lets rather focus on the relaxing, fun day we had… 🙂
I was treated by the kids to a anklet, they bought from the Maasai people that sell their handmade goods along the beach. If I wasn’t so lazy I might have tried my hand at wind surfing. A lovely place to just relax for the day… we wanted to return but just did not have enough time.
Heather introduced us to fresh coconuts on our drive home and it became our almost daily treat. There are 3 or 4 different coconuts and you don’t know what you are getting. I likes the ones with the hard coconut but my son prefers the soft inner.
