Kasteelpoort Hike

The Kasteelpoort Hike is a climb up to the top with a relatively flat walk at the top and then a steep downhill back to the start. 🙂

We started from Theresa Ave, Rontree Estate in Camps Bay and then headed up towards the Pipe Track and then up the Kasteel Poort Pass were we had tea on a slab over looking Camps bay

Further up we stopped at the  ruins of the old Cable Car Station dating back to 1893.

From here we walked to the 2 dams and visited the Museum at the top of Table Mountain and back down again.

We started at about 9:30 and were back down by 4:30. The small waterfalls were lovely but the path was rather wet and slippery.
